Most courses are too long, so learners quit before they finish anything.
02Approach & architecture
Designed, built and operate the whole platform solo. Brand middleware lets one Django codebase serve three sites (the bitsizelearning.com hub, BitSize Python and BitSize Languages) with one account and login. Each track is its own Stripe subscription behind a three-tier gate (lesson 1 free, 2-3 with an account, 4+ for subscribers), Python and PostgreSQL run in the browser with Pyodide and PGlite, and a shared learning engine handles unlocks and spaced review.

Live at bitsizelearning.com: 3 tracks, 22 learning apps and 5,200+ lessons, from JLPT N5 and DELF A1 to machine learning and deep learning. Every line of code, deploy and migration is mine.
04Lessons
One codebase for three sites is the right call when you're solo: shared accounts, billing and a single learning engine outweigh the routing complexity. Front-loading content tooling paid back many times over, and running code in the browser removed a whole class of servers to scale.
